The Statesman reported that a day in precedence of parliamentary election results are announced, Left Front chariman Biman Bose charged with a crime to chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of hatching a plot to manipulate the counting of votes. That's perhaps to guarantee 30 to 35 of her party nominees win. The Trinamul supremo has ordered her party leaders to manipulate the counting with the help of  police, the front chairman alleged at a press conference at the state patty office in Alimuddin Street during the day.

Mr Bose said, during starting the Trinamul leadership had demanded as a right that it would gain victory in 42 seats. On the contrary this probable tally declined later to a lower number of seats and they have come to know from sources in the Capital that Trinamul leaders would not hesitate to try to upset the people's verdict to attain their goal. He added that the Left Front has written to the Election Commission voicing its apprehensions in this matter. Additionally known from Mr Bose that the Front has asked the commission to take  appropriate steps to safeguard the entry of outsiders in the counting centres tomorrow.  Notwithstanding that appropriate steps would be taken if the counting agents of the Front's nominees are obstructed, these agents have also been asked to be vigilant, as the counting process may be vandalized.  Intending to undertake to handle the situation of an unforeseen power cut, Mr Bose said that emergency lighting arrangements must be kept in reserve. Sometimes when the power situation is interrupted by a storm plunging the counting centres in darkness, these emergency lights would come handy.

Now, this sounds like throwing ghee on the burning fire desperately trying to ignite the rage.  Lets hope for the best!
