TRS ahead in Telangana TDP in Seemandhra

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) during Friday established early advancing in majority of the assembly seats in Telangana while the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is ahead in Seemandhra.

The TRS was ahead in 51 constituencies out of 100 constituencies from where the leads were available. The Congress is lagging with 21 seats. The TDP-BJP combine is ahead in 19 constituencies while others are leading in seven segments. Telangana has 119 assembly seats.

Additionally known that in Seemandhra, the TDP-BJP combine was ahead in 83 assembly constituencies as the trends were available from 142 out of 175 seats. The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) was leading in 55 constituencies while others were ahead in two segments. Out of 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana, the TRS was leading in eight, the Congress and the BJP in one each. In Seemandhra, the TDP-BJP combine is ahead in eight and the YSRCP in five Lok Sabha constituencies. 

The region has 25 Lok Sabha seats. --IANS
